The Hy-View Fire Company answers emergencies in Fire District No. 8, which is located in the Northeast corner of the Town of Cheektowaga. It covers approximately 3 square miles and has over 2000 residential structures, as well as a number of commercial buildings. Hy-View Fire Company responds to a variety of emergencies including: Fires, Automobile Accidents, First Aids, Rescues, and Airport Emergencies. Hy-View Fire District #8, is one of three Cheektowaga Fire Districts, that border the Greater Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
